Now Available: 10,000 Pre-Kindergarten Seats Newly Open

If you live in New York City and your child is turning 4 years old in 2014, it’s time to think about applying to pre-kindergarten. 10,000 new seats in community-based organizations are now available. Applications will be accepted starting June 3rd, through the last day of school, June 26th. Children turning four years old in 2014 who live in New York City are eligible to attend pre-k programs. Important Information for Pre-K

I know it’s hard to imagine your little one growing up and going to school-but when you live in New York City it’s easily something you think about from the day they are born-so being prepared is important. The NYC Department of Education has updated their site with some important dates for Pre-K registration. Check it out here.
