Bronx Arts Ensemble Presents: Composer/Pianist Gregg Kallor

On Sunday, November 17th there will be a performance by classical pianist and Aaron Copland Award-winning composer Gregg Kallor presented by The Bronx Arts Ensemble. The program will include works by Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Kallor’s own chamber composition “Undercurrent” which was originally presented at SubCulture in New York City this past September. Special Tour of Woodlawn Cemetary's Jazz Corner

On Sunday April 28, Woodlawn Cemetery will welcome jazz lovers to a celebration of the lives of the jazz greats—Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Jean Baptiste “Illinois” Jacquet, and Celia Cruz, among many others—who are at rest at Woodlawn. Visitors will be taken on a special trolley tour of Woodlawn’s famed “Jazz Corner” led by prominent members of the New York Jazz community, such as Ray Carmen, President of the Duke
