WCS Virtual Youth J.I.V.E. (Job, Internship & Volunteering Expo)

Each year the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) engages over 1,400 youth through paid and volunteer opportunities at five facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx. The Bronx Zoo alone is one of the largest employers of youth in the borough!

To that end, we are always seeking to expand and strengthen our youth network and are happy to be able to bring back our annual WCS Youth J.I.V.E (Job, Internship, and Volunteering) Expo on Saturday, February 6, 2021 (10am – 3pm). This event will be virtual and an interactive opportunity for youth (ages 14 – 26) to learn about paid and unpaid positions at our New York City zoos and aquarium, connect directly to hiring managers, and attend additional optional workshops. Representatives from a variety of WCS departments will be available to share information about upcoming positions and attendees will be able to join career panels with WCS staff, workshops on resumes, interviews and more.
