Join Wave Hill and Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Riverdale Park on Saturday, May 1, for the 10th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.

Volunteers should enter Riverside Park at Spaulding Lane and Palisade Avenue where they will find a parking lot. Parking in Riverdale Park is extremely limited. Free parking is available at the parking lot at the Riverdale Metro North Station. Look for signs at the south end of the Station at 252nd Street. A volunteer will direct participants to the meeting location which is a short walk through the park. As a point of reference, the location is adjacent to Riverdale Country School. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves and hand sanitizer. This site is appropriate for children ages 10 and older with proper adult supervision.
