Project WASTE Cleanup Event at Muskrat Cove

Please join the Bronx River Alliance for our Project WASTE cleanup event! Throw on a pair of waders and grab a trash bag and help us remove floating waste from the river as well as count and categorize each piece so that we can investigate the sources of pollution in the river and stop trash where it starts. Register The event will take place in-water at the Muskrat Cove trash boom. The activity will start around 2:30 p.m. and last until 4:30 p.m. All materials will be provided. The event location is accessible by walking down the stairs from the south side of the 233rd Street bridge or from entering the park at the Woodlawn train station and walking south along the jogging path.
