Forest Restoration Fridays
Non-indigenous plant species such as angelica tree, bittersweet, and alder buckthorn threaten the health of the forest in the northwestern section of Van Cortlandt Park. Help us remove these species! Make sure to wear long pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, and bring lots of water (and maybe a snack)! All other tools will be provided. No prior experience needed.
