CityParks Youth Track and Field Program
This free weekly track & field youth program is available to youth ages 12-16 and is held on the weekends in parks across NYC. About this Event Free weekly instruction is held on Saturday or Sunday mornings (depending on location) this fall at Soundview Park in the Bronx, Forest Park (Victory Field) in Queens, and Asser Levy Recreation Center in Manhattan. Activities include long jump, shot put, hurdles, discus, javelin, and track. Please fill out the application for detailed information on new guidelines and policies addressing COVID-19. All equipment is provided at no cost. Participants do need appropriate footwear such as sneakers or running shoes. Are there any restrictions to participation? All participants must be a NYC resident between the ages of 12 to 16. Do I need to bring the printed ticket on the first day of programming? No – your ticket is not necessary. Coaches will have a list of registered participants. Be sure to take note of what location and schedule you are registered for.
