Join NYC Parks & Poe Park Visitor Center for “BATMAN: BILL FINGER & BEYOND” September Showcase. This is an exciting comic book exhibition, celebrating the birth of Batman in Detective Comics #27 in 1938. The creation of Batman took place on a park bench in Poe Park by artists/ writers Bill Finger, Bob Kane and later Jerry Robinson.
