A Life Lived – Oral Story Telling for Adults: Virtual and Live
Many older adults have lived a life they often do not share. In this class, participants will tell their stories to record for themselves or leave behind as a legacy for their families. They are the keepers of the family stories and have survived much like warriors. we will go through the developmental years from childhood into adulthood. Childhood: What were you like as a child? (curious, rambunctious, creative, talkative, quiet, etc?) What caught your attention? What did you get into trouble for? (curiosity, creativity, being the oldest/youngest/middle child), Who were your role models? What did you do that was unusual? Did your childhood personality predict who you would be as an adult? Stories may be submitted for publication. Writers and storytellers retain rights to their stories. Please note: This class is open to adults via Zoom if unable to attend in person.
