Last week Elmo and Cookie Monster made a visit to the Bronx! The famous Sesame Street duo visited Jackson Family Center along with Sports Illustrated model Damaris Lewis. Their visit was a fun day to teach children the importance of making new friends by making Valentine’s Day cards in celebration of Sesame Street Live “Make a New Friend,” coming to the Theater at Madison Square Garden February 19 – March 1.
Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) today announced the launch of the New York State Senate’s 5th Annual Earth Day Poster Contest to celebrate and honor Earth Day.
