Making new friends as an adult isn’t always easy. Lately, I’ve been noticing more Bronx-based social clubs and communities creating spaces specifically for people to get out, meet others and build new connections.
Here are three Bronx social clubs and communities to check out.
Club Social Butterfly
If you’re looking for a way to get out and meet new people in the Bronx, Club Social Butterfly is one to check out. The social club organizes gatherings designed to bring people together and make it easier to connect, with events and experiences that encourage conversation and meeting new faces. Their membership will be reopening in 2027.

Bronx Vibe Society
Bronx Vibe Society is another local community I’ve come across that’s focused on bringing people together and creating more opportunities to socialize in the borough. They’ve done everything from meetups at Bronx bookstore The Lit Bar to happy hours.

soft(spaces)
soft(spaces) is a Bronx-based social club and community space created by and for queer people, with a particular focus on BIPOC community. Rather than being centered around one type of event, soft(spaces) creates a physical and social space where people can hang out, meet others and participate in different kinds of gatherings. Events have included lounge sessions, game nights, mixers and other community-focused experiences.

More Bronx social clubs to come
This is definitely not meant to be a complete list. I’m discovering these groups through social media and word of mouth, and I know there are probably more out there.
I’ll continue adding Bronx social clubs and community groups to this list as I find them.
So if you’re looking to meet some new people this fall, it might be worth following a few of these groups and seeing what they’re up to. You never know — your next new friend could be at the next Bronx meetup.
