If you love discovering local businesses in the Bronx, there’s a new show you’ll want to add to your watch list. News 12 has launched a brand new series called Made In, and it’s all about spotlighting the small businesses and entrepreneurs that make our communities what they are. The series officially premiered on Monday, March 16 at 8 pm, and airs weekly across News 12. Hosted by News 12 anchor Rebecca Surran, each episode highlights the people behind local shops, restaurants, and creative businesses across the tri-state area—sharing the stories, passion, and hard work that go into building something from the ground up.
What makes this especially exciting for Bronx families is that several Bronx businesses are already being featured in the series. Viewers can expect to see familiar favorites like Borgatti’s Ravioli & Egg Noodles, a staple in Bronx Little Italy known for its handmade pasta, A La Mode Shoppe, a beloved local boutique, and Casa Grande Cigars, another longtime neighborhood business with deep roots in the community. And this is just the beginning, as more Bronx-based businesses are expected to be featured throughout the series.
Made In focuses on everything from family-run shops to up-and-coming entrepreneurs, giving a closer look at the people who are helping shape neighborhoods across New York. It’s a great way to not only support local, but also introduce kids and teens to the idea of entrepreneurship and community pride.
The show airs Mondays at 8 pm, with additional airings throughout the week, including Wednesdays at 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm, and Sundays at 3:30 pm, with another Sunday airing at 11 am on News 12 New York. If you’re always looking for ways to support Bronx businesses or just love hearing the stories behind your favorite local spots, this is definitely one to check out.
