If you know a creative teen who loves art, collaboration, or storytelling, The Bronx Museum of the Arts is now accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Teen Council, a paid internship program for NYC high school students ages 14–19. Teen Council is a unique after-school program where young people step into the world of contemporary art and museum work. Participants will:
- Meet and interview professional artists
- Curate real exhibitions (both in-person and digital)
- Create projects and contribute to a collaborative zine
- Work with other teens on creative and community initiatives
- Explore the museum’s current exhibitions up close
The council is a paid opportunity where students build real skills in creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Sessions runs from early March through mid-June 2026, with meetings twice a week after school. Only 12 students are selected for this session, so if you know a teen who’d love this, encourage them to apply today.
The application deadline is Sunday, February 1, 2026 by 11:59 PM and sessions will be held at the Bronx Museum at 1040 Grand Concourse. Find all the details and submit your application here.
