What to Expect

So what can you expect from Eric Carle’s World of Wildlife?

  • Live theatrical performances featuring larger than life puppets, music, dancing and adventure 
  • Games and educational activities 
  • Eric Carle photo opps to remember the day for years to come!
  • On Mondays through Thursdays, enjoy educational performances at the Bronx Zoo’s Wildlife Theater. Here, kids can learn about animal behaviors, like the migration journey of monarch butterflies, colors in the wild, and the importance of spiders and insects.

    On Fridays through Sundays, enjoy theatrical performances by Rockefeller Productions, inclusive of interactive book readings, puppet shows, games and music. This includes the US premier of live performances for The Very Busy Spider!

    After, bring the kids to see the animals from your favorite Eric Carle books!

    Visit the real-life animals who inspired the books, like the grizzly bears at the Big Bears exhibit, farmyard animals at the Children’s Zoo, butterflies at the Butterfly Garden, and Mongolian horses along the Wild Asia Monorail. With over 10,000 animals to encounter at the Bronx Zoo, you never know what you might see or experience.
