Free Goat Story Hour Every Thursday in the Bronx

Have you ever been to a goat story hour? Starting July 1st, the Van Cortlandt House Museum will be hosting a weekly goat story hour by their goat enclosure. The books will be goat-themed and guests can bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the fun.

The goats in Van Cortlandt Park help with eliminating invasive weeds and clearing grass, and now they will be the backdrop of this fun story hour every week this summer.

This FREE story hour takes place every Thursday under the Linden tree by the goat enclosure at Van Cortlandt House Museum, weather permitting. Van Cortlandt House Museum is located at 6036 Broadway, Van Cortlandt Park, and visitors can call 718.543.3344 to confirm if story hour is taking place due to weather.
