Weekly Greenmarket Reopening for the Season in the Bronx
GrowNYC’s Bronx Borough Hall Greenmarket will open on Tuesdays for the season, beginning Tuesday June 1st and continuing through November 23rd. Located on 161st Street and Grand Concourse in the Bronx shoppers will find this Greenmarket, which offers fresh, locally grown vegetables, seasonal fruit, local honey, and quality baked goods, alongside Joyce Kilmer Park. To commemorate opening day, members of the Jazz Foundation will perform at market from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 1st.
