Conti’s Pastry Shoppe Giving Away 100 Boston Cream Pies to Celebrate 100 Years

In 1921 Augustino Conti opened an Italian bakery on Morris Park Avenue not long after immigrating from Italy to the Bronx. Now 100 years later, the shoppe is celebrating that moment in history by giving away 100 of their signature Boston Cream Pies over the course of the year.

Conti’s fluffy Boston Cream pie, Augustino’s favorite twist on tradition, is still made with his original secret recipe. The bakery was owned by the Conti family for three generations, and still retains many of its original details: hand-stapled tin ceilings, gorgeous wood walls, terrazzo floors, and the original marble soda fountain installed in 1928.

For the month of January, Conti’s will be giving away 8 Boston Cream Pies. To participate in the celebration, head over to their Instagram page at @Contis_Pastry_Shoppe and follow the rules to enter.
