Devante Lane was a bright young college graduate from the Bronx whose life was cut short due to gun violence. Devante’s father, Jerome Lane, has been a dedicated and proud member of the law firm of Finz & Finz, P.C. for nearly 30 years. In honor of Devante, Finz & Finz, P.C. has established the Devante Lane Scholarship Fund to help young Bronx residents fund their college education in his memory.
Young Bronx residents who plan to attend or are currently enrolled in college can apply for the Devante Lane Scholarship Fund by submitting a written essay that addresses the following question: How would you use your college education to give back to the Bronx community and reduce the epidemic of gun violence in New York?
The submission period is open until December 15th, 2020 and more details can be found here.
