If you haven’t already heard, the Bronx Zoo is excited to be welcoming back visitors! After months of being closed, we’re sure the zoo’s 8,000 animals have missed people watching as much as we’ve missed animal watching! And with 265 acres of hardwood forest and limited ticket sales each day, the zoo is the perfect place to get some fresh air and still practice social distancing. We’re excited to share the health and safety precautions and protocols the zoo now has in place for your next visit. Plus, we’re happy to share a 20% discount on membership for all Bronxmama readers!
Health & Safety Precautions
In order to facilitate social distancing and reduce the likelihood of crowding, the Bronx Zoo is selling a reduced number of tickets each day, creating one-way paths throughout the park, and implementing contactless interactions.
The park is also being continuously cleaned, and more sanitizing stations are now available throughout the zoo for frequent hand washing.
