As we continue to self quarantine due to Covid-19, folks everywhere are looking for creative ideas to get through this time. Parents are spending their days keeping their children busy, and small businesses are forced to think outside of the box to stay afloat. That’s why we want to share one idea that can help do both. Local Bronx party business Confetti is currently hosting Character Appearances- where children can enjoy a visit from one of their favorite characters- via social distancing of course.
Confetti Clowns & Characters has been around for over 15 years, offering up clown, character, magician visits, and other rentals. Six years ago they opened up a party space in Pelham Bay- which has become home to an after school and summer camp, a place for paint parties, and a space to host everything from birthday parties to indoor farmers markets. With all of their normal operations coming to a complete halt, they came up with the fun idea of character visits.

Starting Monday March 30th, Confetti will be offering character visit drive-bys. The hours are 1-5pm, and the visit will be about 10-15min, depending on the character. Most will dance, some will sing too. They will remain outside, as children look out their windows. Due to social distancing, we can visit private homes. For buildings, you can meet us at the main door if you’d like. We will remain outside.
This is completely donation based, to help us reach our ultimate goal…keeping our store open. Together we can help each other during this difficult time.
Donations can be made via paypal, cashapp, zelle, and venmo. Currently available in Bronx and Lower Westchester.
