If you still haven’t checked out Porto Salvo here in the Bronx- be sure to plan a date soon! This cozy Italian restaurant and wine bar is the perfect spot for brunch- or a impromptu lunch date. On our last visit we opted for the Branzino- which was delicious!!!
Decorated with seaport vibes on the outside- and old port tavern vibes inside, it’s no wonder we were in the mood for seafood during our visit. We also wanted to try a little of everything. Executive Chef Luigi Ghidetti designed the menu so that guests are so inclined to share their plates- in true Italian style- and there is no TV or WiFi- which allows you to truly focus on the amazing food and company you decide to bring.
Chef Luigi was born in Terracina Italy, and also owns a winebar and drafthouse in Hamilton Heights, but we’re so glad he decided to bring his talent here to the Bronx. We can’t wait for our next visit- brunch anyone?!
Porto Salvo is located at 424 E 161 St, The Bronx, NY 10451. For more information, visit www.portosalvobronx.com.
