This past Tuesday, Lisa from The Bronx Socialite and I hosted some friends at the Icehouse Cafe’s new outdoor beer garden area. It was a fun evening of lawn games, hammock swingin’, and yes- frose.’ Open from Wednesday to Sunday during the warmer months, the new addition to Ice House is perfect for summer nights with friends.
Located right off the water near the Throggs Neck Bridge, it was only right this restaurant that serves seafood, pasta, and American fare do something fun with their outdoor area.
The kids had a blast on the hammocks and playing lawn games while the parents managed to sneak in some adult conversation.
And one word- Frose’. The margarita flavor was my personal favorite.
Or you can order a bucket of Rose’ to enjoy with friends.
Just note- it is cash only, but there is an ATM inside. So text a friend and make plans to visit before summer ends!
Icehouse Cafe is located at 140 Reynolds Avenue. For more information, visit www.icehousecafebronx.com.
