If you’re looking for a little holiday adventure, check out the Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, Pennsylvania. A little under 2 hours from the Bronx, this working farm has a spectacular light show, Christmas trees, a farmers market, and lots of firepits for making s’mores and sipping hot cocoa.
The light show costs $30 per car ride, and they also have wagon rides at $15 per person when weather permits.
Visitors tune in to the local holiday music station and slowly drive through this beautiful 2 mile trail of lights.
After, head towards the market where there are several bonfires and seating areas for families to sit around, roast marshmallows, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy the beautiful Christmas tree at the center of it all.
Grab some goodies from the market and snap some pictures in front of the tree before making your way home. If you’re not up for making the trek just for the day, make a weekend out of it by adding in Sesame Place or one of the many wineries, museums, or parks in the area.
