Readers & Shakers

The Lit Bar owner Noelle Santos started this book club on the Meetup website, which now has 736 members.

Description: Readers & Shakers is a hybrid book club for women, based in New York City. Each month, a book (genre will vary) is carefully curated to inspire us members to live our best life! We host intriguing book club discussions and incorporate our book’s premises and settings into fun, real-life activities & travel. There are no reading or attendance prerequisites to join our meet-ups, so this club is perfect for the new girl in town or the busy boss-babe.

Meetup up info: The group meets up at different locations- usually one per month in the Bronx. www.meetup.com/ReadersandShakers
