For the last weekend of Boo at the Zoo, head over and watch some amazing pumpkin carving at the Dancing Crane Pavilion. After, head home and try your hand at carving your favorite zoo animal on this year’s pumpkin.



Scarecrows and Pumpkins at the New York Botanical Garden

To see some cool pumpkins and gourds, head over to the New York Botanical Garden for the last stretch of their Scarecrows and Pumpkins festivities. Kids can also take part in special activities and demonstrations featuring creepy creatures, hands-on crafts, and more. Get some fun ideas for your own pumpkins at home.


4th Annual Pumpkin Carving at the Bronxwood Tree

On Friday, October 27th at 6:30 pm, head over to the Bronxwood Tree on Allerton and Bronxwood Ave for a fun evening of pumpkin carving. The pumpkins will then stay around the tree until after Halloween for all of the community to see and admire. Rain location is 930 Allerton Ave.


Pumpkin Painting at the United We Stand Community Garden

On October 26th at 5:30pm, GreenThumb will have pumpkins on hand for children to paint. Feel free to bring other supplies to add to your creation!


Free Pumpkin With Mini Golf at Turtle Cove Golf Center

If you pay for a game of mini golf over at Turtle Cove Golf Center in Pelham Bay Park, kids receive a free pumpkin from their patch.
