This year’s Girls Night Out at the New York International Auto Show with the ladies of SheBuysCars was another fun night of talking cars and fashion, with plenty of vino and bubbly to boot. Whether you attend the auto show to search for your next car in your price range or simply to keep up with the latest in luxury from automakers, it’s an annual event many look forward to. Yes, that includes us mamas too!

After a full evening of exploring cars throughout the Javits Center, I still found myself turning to the Mazda CX-9 as the next car on my list. If you remember from our week long test drive back in September, it was one of our favorites to date. Mazda always seems to impress both myself from a family perspective and my husband from more of a power and style POV.

This year we also spent some time with Genesis, the luxury vehicle division from Hyundai. Surprisiningly affordable when compared to other luxury brands, Genesis currently boasts the G80 and G80. Both models come equipped with great standard features- including an eight inch touchscreen with navigation. It was also awesome to hear that Genesis vehicles come with complimentary service and maintainence valet for three years- meaning they will pick up your car and provide you with a loaner while they work on yours. Again, giving buyers a more affordable luxury experience.

We also had the chance to see their latest concept vehicle-the GV80. With a 22 inch wide curved OLED display and a touch controlled console with individual entertainment systems for all passengers, we definitely hope to see this vehicle in production and at a future car show.

In keeping with the theme of ladies night, we even had the opportunity to meet the women behind the GV80 concept- Nubia Krikorian and Kerrin Liang. It was great to see their beautiful designs come to life. And speaking of beautiful, don’t forget that SheBuysCars is hosting their Handbag Challenge during the remainder of the auto show.
