This morning, Boston Market opened the doors of its newest location here in the Bronx at 5520 Broadway. Known for it’s rotisserie chicken and homestyle sides, this is now the 3rd Bronx location. According to Tameka over at the Bronx Food Blog who was there this morning for the celebrations, the new location is already a hit with residents who work in the area.
To celebrate the grand opening, this location partnered with Mercy Center and announced that 10 percent of the first week’s proceeds (up to $2,000) was donated on behalf of Boston Market. Bob Gerard, the Director of Operations for Boston Market in New York and Doug Arnold, the Area Manager for Boston Market presented the $2,000 check to further help the organization empower women and their families.
The new Broadway location is is 2,651 sq. feet, with their latest updated decor, complete with upgraded serving stations which include a “Chef’s Hot Case” and an improved and more efficient serving line that will allow guests to receive their meals faster than ever. The new restaurant also creates 45 new jobs for local residents, with such positions as cashiers, cooks, dishwashers, carvers and servers.
Their hours are from 10:30am – 10:00pm Monday – Saturday and 10:30am – 9:00pm on Sunday.
