While we are still saddened by the closing of the Bay Plaza Barnes & Noble location, we are happy to hear that they have committed to making a return to the Bronx. “We are a borough of book lovers, and Barnes & Noble has been an institution in The Bronx for nearly two decades. I share the concerns of my constituents that they will depart Bay Plaza. However, I understand

Kid City Winter Clothing Haul

Earlier last week I headed to Kid City on Fordham Road in the Bronx for another fun winter haul challenge. With $100 gift certificate in hand, I made my way through the aisles to find my favorite pieces to make up the perfect collection to kick off this season’s wardrobe.  The key for me is to start with the staples- jeans, a coat, boots- and then find shirts and accessories as

Tackling Fall & Winter with Carhartt

While I love summer, Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Stepping outside to the cool crisp air with stylish layers on, and a hot latte in hand. Colorful foliage creating frame-worthy backdrops. Mini road trips to farms upstate to pick pumpkins and other fresh produce. It’s such a beautiful time to spend outdoors. Our family spends a lot of time outside, even as the temps drop and winter hits.
