Before we even finish the last piece of Halloween candy, I’m already in the warm and fuzzy holiday spirit. Planning our Thanksgiving menu, hitting up discount stores for cute holiday decor, and planning out all of the fun places to check off our holiday bucket list. While some places we only have a chance to visit once, there are some that have become annual traditions. The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is one of them. Some years we’ve gone as a family and others we have done a date night during their Bar Cart Nights. But it’s always a magical time to be at the garden.

  1. My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas morning at home. The kids wake up and open their presents with the yule log on the tv. Then we order breakfast while the kids play with their new toys. I love Christmas morning!
