If you’ve followed along on our social media pages, then you know that we’ve been a part of an amazing program at the Bronx Zoo for the past few years. Through a grant, the Bronx Zoo’s Education department was able to start the Bronx Zoo Nature Club- a group that meets once a month right outside of the zoo for exploring, playing, and learning about nature and animals. It’s been an awesome time to unplug and let the kids be kids. Before this club has been lottery based, but now they are changing things up a bit and opening up the registration to everyone- and then each month they will invite families to come out to different sessions.
Nature Club meets throughout October to May, allowing families to experience the outdoors in the seasons beyond just summer.
We’ve done everything from create art from nature…
To meet animals…..
To pumpkin carving….
Even taking an off site trip to go sledding…
We’ve really had some amazing experiences with our Nature Club family and I’m so excited that you can now join in on the fun too. To register, visit www.tickets.wcs.org and add the Bronx Zoo Nature Club to your cart and fill out the survey.
Hope to see you there!
