Crafting with Seedling

It’s fall. That means apple picking, pumpkin spiced lattes, and enjoying as much outdoor time as possible before we’re stuck indoors. However, there are already those brisk autumn days where the couch and a plush blanket are where it’s at. Keeping some fun craft kits for the kids are a great way to still spend quality time together or just to keep them busy while you get things done around the house. Seedling recently sent over some of their fun kits for us to try out. Check out some of what their craft kit line has to offer:

From velvet painting to a suncatcher craft, the kits cover all kinds of activities and age ranges. So, we met up with some friends and hosted a little crafting play date. The girls decided to work on one or two together each play date, so they started off with the Velvet Painting Kit and the DIY galaxy in a jar.

The girls worked on painting the pieces that would decorate the frame while one volunteered to paint the velvet. They also helped to paint the frame gold. Meanwhile, one worked on getting the glitter inside the galaxy jar!

Both projects came out really cute, and the kids enjoyed creating it together. They even added a little butterfly as their own touch to the finished product.
