The dust has finally settled at the local school supply stores and parents are able to catch their breath with the start of the new school year. I would like to shine an importance on having your child’s eyes examined.
Both my husband and I have “not so great vision”, so that immediately prompted me to have a concern for our daughter’s vision, but common daily activities like increased screen time, smart boards in schools and UV rays all play a role in our children’s eye health. The standard eye tests at your pediatrician for some may seem sufficient, but a full exam by an eye doctor at a comprehensive vision center is recommended.
