Each year kids from all over throw on their costume and head over to the Bronx Zoo for Boo at the Zoo. The annual Halloween celebration will run WEEKENDS, SEPTEMBER 30 – OCTOBER 29 PLUS MONDAY, OCTOBER 9.
HAUNTED FOREST
We’ve ramped up the spook factor for our guests ages 12 and up. Journey into the Haunted Forest if you dare. You never know what’s lurking, crawling, or flying above!

Price: $6 non-Members / $4 Members
BOOTOBERFEST
Grab seasonal fare or try a new beer at Bootoberfest. Enjoy the music and lawn games that complete the experience.

Price: Food and beer available for purchase, no ticket necessary

HALLOWEEN HAYRIDE
Take a turn on the hayride featuring scarecrows, bugs, snakes and spiders. Upon exit find your way through the corn maze and enjoy cider and seasonal treats.
Location: Entry at Fountain Circle
Price: included in Total Experience ticket, PLUS and Premium Memberships and above / $6 single ticket. Cider and treats for purchase.
NATURE TREK
We’re hosting special seasonal fun at Nature Trek. Plan a visit and enjoy the day with our expert play partners.

VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

ANIMAL TREATS
Hear from some of our expert keepers and watch as they demonstrate enrichments for animals. Bats, bears, reptiles and more Halloween favorites.

Watch as our expert artists create giant animals out of pumpkins! Shout out your favorite species and see if they’ll give it a go.

Spooktacular Nightwalk
Visit some creepy, crawly animal guests and enjoy a pizza dinner. As the sun sets we will head out on a night walk in the zoo to see what happens when the gates close and the last of the visitors leave.

Register for Bronx Zoo Nature Club and enjoy the outdoors like never before. Join us on the first and second Saturdays of the month as we explore our surroundings and learn about nature.
