There’s a kid’s clothing and toy swap party coming next month to the Riverdale Y. Bring at least 8 like-new items and leave with up to 20 pieces. Tickets are $25 on the website and $30 at the door.

How our Swaps Work

1. Buy your ticket

Tickets cost $25 on our website, or $30 on the door (if available). Each ticket you purchase gives you one wristband  and a swap bag to enter the swap.

Our events are meant to be family events, fun for the whole family.  There is no charge for children and/or family members to attend.  If you purchase a ticket on our website, please list how many children and other family members (if any) you plan to bring, so that we can prepare appropriately.

2. Bring your items

Bring at least 8 items of kid’s or maternity clothing, accessories, books or toys. Clothing should be size 0-5T only, and books and toys suitable for up to 5 years (and small enough to easily transport, no stuffed animals).

Remember the golden rule – only bring what you would like to receive yourself. For clothes that means no rips, stains or excessive wear. For toys and books they should be in good working order.

3. Get here early

3pm to 4pm: Registration and drop off

Check in and drop off your items (by 4pm).  Have refreshments and visit with the event sponsors at their tables.

Family members and children are welcome!  Enjoy free activities like a family photo booth, facepainting, raffles and more.

4.15pm to 5pm: Swap Begins

Swap begins!  All participants must bring at least 8 new or like-new items, and may take home up to 20 items.  We provide bags for all participants.
