As back to school approaches, it’s a good time to focus on essentials for the everyday routine- and oral hygiene is one of the most important parts. A few months ago BronxMama had the chance to check out some brand new products by Waterpik- and it’s definitely nothing like I remember. When I was a kid I would always go into my grandfather’s bathroom and watch him use what was to me, this “huge” contraption. It seemed really cool, but it was also so intimidating tIMG_2899hat I never dared to touch it. Now Waterpik has a a few new additions with a fresh new look- which is a lot more inviting for me daughter to want to use it also.

Waterpik has introduced the very sleek cordless water flosser – it retails for $44.99 and could be a fun way to finally get kids (and let’s face it,some adults) to floss. It only takes one minute and has been clinically proven to remove up to 99.9% of plaque. It can even be used in the shower.

The Complete Care 5.0 retails for $99.99 and combines a sonic toothbrush and water flosser in one cute compact device that only uses 1 outlet.  It’s also been clinically proven to remove up 70% more plaque than a leading sonic tooth brush.

Now that my kid has braces we’re definitely trying to be more conscious of our oral health, and more diligent about flossing so this has been a welcome addition at home.

What steps are you guys taking towards better oral health? We’d love to hear from you.
