Looking for some ways to get out on the water this summer? The Bronx River Alliance gives Bronxites and visitors of our borough several opportunities to experience paddles on the Bronx River. From free community paddles to trips on the river, check out some ways to experience the only fresh water river in NYC.
1. Community Paddles
These rides are short, FREE, first-come-first-served trips that take place throughout the summer at parks along the Bronx River.
2. Upper River Runs
Priced at $30, these are 2-3 hour trips on the upper river and have limited slots available.
3. Estuary Paddles
Priced at $30, these 2-3 hour trips on the lower river at different parks along the river.
4. Full River Paddles
The priciest of the options at $45, these paddles are a 5-mile trip that takes you to both fresh water and estuary parts of the river.
Groups
In addition to these options, there are also options for chartered trips with school groups, organizations, families, etc who want to schedule their own group trip. Simply reach out to the Bronx River Alliance to discuss your options.
