Canoe the Bronx River with Rocking the Boat

Every weekend in the Bronx from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend, Bronxites can join Rocking the Boat for free canoe rides on the Bronx River at Hunts Point Riverside Park. No registration is required, simply sign up at their tent- lifejackets are provided. Learn to paddle, listen to the history of the river, and enjoy a tour of the Bronx River.

Celebrate Dad with a Father’s Day “base ball match” at Bartow Pell Mansion Museum. The New York Mutuals play with 1864 rules, balls, bats, and uniforms—but no helmets or gloves!
