Farmers Market Kids’ Classes: Earn Health Bucks, Fun Activities, and More

Keep an eye out for fun at the The South Bronx Farmers Market this summer. They have been chosen to be a part of New York City’s Department of Mental Health & Hygiene’s Farmers’ Market Kids – a hands-on class designed to increase children’s familiarity with and consumption of fruits and vegetables.  Participants – including children – are given Health Bucks to spend at the market, free recipes, and activities.

Farmers’ Market Kids will run from July 9 – October 22nd – every Saturday rain or shine from 10 am – 3 pm. All classes are drop-in

Only a few markets were chosen to participate, and we are excited for this opportunity to get more kids cooking!
