SUN, FEBRUARY 7    WINTER WORKSPACE WORKSHOP: EZRA WUBE—ANIMATION WITH PAINT AND NATURAL MATERIALS
Each winter, Wave Hill opens Glyndor Gallery as workspace for New York-area artists, giving them the unique opportunity to explore the winter landscape as a source of inspiration. Artists share aspects of their practice and engagement with Wave Hill through hands-on workshops. Workshops begin in Glyndor Gallery with an introduction to the artist’s work, then continue in the Ecology Building or Wave Hill House for the creative activity. During the Winter Workspace, Ezra Wube will make a stop-motion, animation short based on studies of Wave Hill’s plants, insects and animals, looking at how they respond to their surroundings.
