MILLENNIUM BASKETBALL LEAGUE RECRUITMENT

AGES: Girls and boys ages 8 to 17

Slots are open at select Millennium Basketball League locations. The program is a free, competitive league for boys and girls ages 8-17. Over 150 teams from the girls’ Junior Liberty league and the boys’ Junior Knicks league will combine to make up the league this year. Players compete, within their age division, in weekly round robin games and borough tournaments.
NYC Parks’ Millennium Basketball Winter League, part of the Junior Knicks League presented by Sprite and Chase, is a free, competitive league open to girls and boys ages 8-17.
The Millennium Basketball League uses the game of basketball to unite boys and girls from across New York City, while providing a positive, structured environment for self-improvement, personal growth, and community development. This year, over 150 teams will participate in 8-11, 12-14, and 15-17 age divisions across the five boroughs. Teams will play intra-borough round robin games weekly and then compete in intra-borough tournaments.
How to Join
Players will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for spots across the city. To be considered for the league, submit your information using our online registration system. A coordinator will contact you if there is a spot open at one of our sites. Because demand is high, we cannot guarantee a spot in the program.
