On Thanksgiving we celebrate all that we are thankful for. On December 1st, we give back. Today is #GivingTuesday, a great day to give back to your community. Bronx Council on the Arts
The Bronx Council on the Arts is one of the Bronx’s leading arts service organization in providing cultural services and arts programs and an array of services to 5,000 artists and more than 250 arts and community-based organizations.

Bronx Documentary Center
The Bronx Documentary Center is promoting their life changing after-school program the Bronx Junior Photo League for Giving Tuesday, which will kick off their 2015 end of year appeal.
Students gather at the BDC each week to explore and engage in storytelling using analog and digital photography and writing to share the issues and stories connecting their lives and Bronx community to the wider world.

The Bronx Museum’s education programs serve over 12,000 youth each year. Through class visits and family programs, the Museum provides youth with a forum for discussion, experimentation and engaging art experiences.

THE POINT CDC is dedicated to youth development and cultural and economic revitalization of Hunts Point section of The Bronx. It’s programming falls within three main headings – Youth Development, Arts and Culture and Community Development – all aimed at the comprehensive revitalization of Hunts Point.

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades, Wave Hill’s mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscape, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts.
The money raised for the annual fund helps us repair walkways damaged by long winters, prune and care for our majestic trees, make repairs to our greenhouses and cold frames, add new plants and bulbs to our flower beds, purchase materials for our arts and educational programs and buy tools and supplies needed to keep our grounds pristine.
