Samsung Reveals New Black Stainless Steel at NYCWFF

IMG_20151015_184121896_HDRLast week was all about food, drinks, and ending hunger at the New York City Wine and Food Festival in NYC. The event brings out the best in chefs, winemakers, spirits producers, and other personalities for a night of delicious food, drinks, entertainment, and more. The net proceeds of the event were to benefit the Food Bank For New York City and the No Kid Hungry campaign. We attended on Friday night’s Italian Feast with Giada De Laurentiis thanks to our good friends at Samsung, and from the turn out- we know this year was another amazing year for the NYCWFF.

As a first time sponsor of the event, Samsung was super excited to be a part of the NYCWFF and had an exciting new product line to share with us. Black Stainless Steel! Chefs held demonstrations with the new line and served up yummy food and drink each day. The new line features four appliances: the 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator, the Flex Duo™ Range with Dual Door, the Top Control Dishwasher with WaterWall™ Technology, and the Over the Range Microwave.

What do you think? We absolutely love this new line- and the best part?! Black Stainless steel is fingerprint resistant- perfect for families with young children. We tried it out, and it’s pretty awesome. In this house, it’s not just the kids who leave their prints all over everything– ahem.. daddy. So this is a great feature and the look is very sleek and looks great in any color scheme.

Also, a cool new feature is the Chef Collection Slide-in Dual Fuel Range, which combines award-winning Flex Duo™ technology with a combination gas cooktop and electric oven, creating a highly-precise and singular new cooking experience. The best of both worlds!

The Black Stainless Steel Collection and the Chef Collection Slide-in Dual Fuel Range are available starting this month, so if you’re in the market for new appliances in time for holiday entertaining, definitely check Samsung out.
