We spend a lot of time outside, even in the colder months. We love to explore the outdoors, and attend a nature club at the Bronx Zoo every month. These meetups are held in pretty much any kind of weather- so we need jackets that are going to keep us seriously warm and handle the wear and tear from fort building, rock climbing, and other outdoor fun. We love that Carhartt jackets are built tough and will keep my family warm, but I also loved the touches of pink inside the girl’s jackets- giving them a great balance.
Tough Girls Need Tough Jackets…
Briana is wearing the REALTREE XTRA® CAMO BOONE JACKET. While we see camo make an appearance here and there in the fashion world, it’s also a great touch of the country that we love. And again, the pink lining is the perfect balance for Briana while she rides her bike around the neighborhood .
Gia is wearing the QUICK DUCK® WOODWARD JACKET in Honey Ginger, with a contrast pink, quilted taffeta lining. This coat looks adorable with a cute pair of boots. The material is super easy to clean and it’s nice and warm inside so she can explore the outdoors even as the temperatures drop.
For myself and the hubby- we opted for more gray colored looks that match most of our every day outfits.
HER….
I went for the GALLATIN COAT in dark shale. I loved the length on this coat and the style went with a lot of the colors and clothes that I wear. This is a great everyday outdoor coat- especially since I walk to pick up my oldest from school each day.
The Gallatin Coat features:
Detachable three-piece hood
Two chest pockets with flap and snap closures
Four lower-front pockets
Secured zipper pocket on left sleeve with pen stall
Articulated and reinforced elbows
Longer length adds coverage

Luis went for the HUNTSMAN ACTIVE JAC in moss color. Here are some features:
12-ounce, 100% washed duck
Quilted-flannel lining with camouflage pattern in body
Attached quilted-flannel lined hood with draw-cord closure
Two inside pockets
Two large lower-front pockets
Rib-knit cuffs and waistband
Carhartt has really made it easy for us to get ready for the colder weather ahead and know we are getting great quality gear. Carhartt has been around for over 125 years and we know these jackets will last for years to come- even if they are handed down to the next outdoor explorer.
