It’s already mid August! Which means time to make sure all of those items on the summer bucket lists are crossed off, beach time is logged, and last chance to enjoy those delicious summer drinks and foods before baked goods and pumpkin spice take over. So, The Bronx Bloggers headed over to the Hard Rock Cafe recently to sip on some summer cocktails and try the Goose Island Tropical Bacon Burger before it’s too late.
Located at Yankee Stadium, many might assume the restaurant is just for those attending the game, or it’s a setting just for avid Yankee fans to watch the game. While this might be the case for game days, we discovered that the restaurant also makes for a great ladies night after work drink or dinner on a random weeknight! And that Goose Island Tropical Bacon Burger? Amazing!
Here’s the dish on this burger: it features a half-pound Certified Angus Beef® patty brushed with Goose Island IPA glaze and topped with chili spiced bacon, grilled pineapple, mango salsa, chipotle purée, arugula and Cheddar.
Although we were stuffed, we did want to try something on the dessert menu. I opted for the Hot Fudge Brownie- and really should have listened when it said it was enough to share! Our table of five could have easily shared and still been full.
