WED, JULY 8    STORIES IN THE GARDEN: Seeds and Sprouts
Each week, Wave Hill educators share some of their favorite nature tales. These stories—classics and more—come to life through interactive readings, sing-alongs and puppetry. Programs are held outdoors in good weather; in Wave Hill House in inclement weather. This week, plant seeds of learning with your child as you listen to stories about how flowers grow, then send out  your own roots and shoots during a dynamic movement piece. This week’s books: Ten Seeds by Ruth Brown, Big Yellow Sunflower by Frances Barry andThe Empty Pot by Demi. Ideal for children ages three to six with an adult.  Free with admission to the grounds.

Encounter a different specimen each week, learn some fun facts and become familiar with its distinguishing features. Ages 10 and older welcome with an adult. Drop-ins accommodated as space permits.
