Frida Kahlo Exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden
Featuring a rare display of more than a dozen original Kahlo paintings and works on paper, this limited six-month engagement also reimagines the iconic artist’s famed garden and studio at the Casa Azul, her lifelong home in Mexico City. Purchase tickets here.

History Hike in Van Cortlandt Park

Bird Migration Month at the Bronx Zoo

Free Teen Workshop on the History of Policing
Global Action Project invites young people to use their new interactive web application to author the history of the policing of youth of color and the legacy of youth activism and resistance. Participants will have the opportunity to add their own stories and media to the timeline as well as share their experiences and ideas about the impact of media and policing in our lives. Catch the Yankees play the Rangers or Kansas City Royals at Yankee Stadium

The Beach
Orchard Beach is officially open for swimming starting this weekend, so that means plenty of families will be headed to Orchard for BBQing, picnics, and fun in the sun.
