If you haven’t already noticed, we are big fans of all things Camelback in the Pocono Mountains. We’ve recommend Camelbeach for their outdoor waterpark, Camelback Mountain for winter fun, and now the largest indoor waterpark in the north east, Aquatopia in Camelback Lodge, has been added to our list!
A few weeks ago Bronxmama writer Martha headed to the Poconos with her family in t0w for the grand opening of Aquatopia. With 13 slides, an indoor water coaster, seven pools (including a wavepool, an indoor/outdoor spa whirlpool, a lazy river and a toddlers’ pool), there is plenty to do for everyone in this 170,000 square foot adventure center.
In addition to the water fun, there is lots of dry fun including a ropes course, multi-level laser tag, mini-golf and mega arcade. There are three sit down restaurants with other dining options available, a spa and fitness center, as well as meeting and conference space. To learn more about the food and dining options, check out their Eat Play Shop page.
Be sure to plan a fun family weekend to visit the new Aquatopia, there are plenty of deals happening right now as part of their grand opening celebration.
Guess What? Right now you can have a sneak peek of Aquatopia without being a guest at Camelback Lodge. From now until June 14th. daily admissions will be sold on a first come, first serve basis, dependent upon availability. Pricing is: 48” and above – $39.99 per person & under 48” – $29.99 per person. Purchases can be made at the Aquatopia admissions desk inside Camelback Lodge anytime after the waterpark opens.
Thanks to our friends at Camelback, we’ve put together this fun Slide and Rides Guide so you can see information about all of the water features and who in your family will be enjoying them.
