Bronx Council on the Arts and Hutchinson Metro Center present Lunchtime Holiday Concerts in Hutch Metro Café

The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) and Hutchinson Metro Center present two free,Thursday lunchtime holiday concerts at the Hutch Metro Café located at Hutchinson Metro Center, 1200 Waters Place (between Eastchester Road and Westchester Avenue).

On December 11th, enjoy a performance of holiday favorites by soprano Melissa Primavera and on December 18th, tap your feet to holiday music and oldies by the Just Nuts Party Band. Each concert includes two performances — at 12:15 and 1:15pm. Admission is free and all are welcome!

Noted for her “glowing” and “sumptuous” voice, soprano Melissa Primavera has become a favorite with audiences in the greater New York City area. With a vast operatic repertoire under her belt, Melissa made her European and Italian concert debut in 2009 as a member of the Incontro Accademico Internazionale di Musica e Teatro Bolzano

In 2011, she performed at the Elysium Between Two Continents’ International Summer Academy in Bernried, Germany. As a member of St. Petersburg Opera’s 2013 Emerging Artist Program, Melissa covered the role of “Echo” in Ariadne auf Naxos. Just Nuts Party Band has performed nationally for groups ranging from 100 to 10,000. When all is said and done, it all comes down to the music that we love to dance to! The band understands this and brings every song they perform to life.
