This Weekend at Wave Hill

THU, NOVEMBER 27    THANKSGIVING Closed to the public.   FRI, NOVEMBER 28 Wave Hill is open! 9AM–4:30PM   SAT, NOVEMBER 29    FAMILY ART PROJECT: HARVEST TIME HANGINGS Gather fall leaves, cones, pods and seed heads. Weave them together with other materials from the gardens and meadows to create a decorative wall hanging celebrating the bounty and beauty of the season. Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.

Just in time for the holidays, the Toy Association has revealed their list of 83 finalists for the 2015 Toy of the Year Awards (TOTY). These awards are the “Oscars” of the Toy Industry, and between now and January 11th, 2015, toy lovers can visit www.toyawards.org to vote across the 12 categories. Winter Art Classes at Bronx River Art Center

10% Discount Early Bird Registration ENDS Friday, Nov. 21st!   Classes for Youth, Teens and Adults The Winter programs run from January12th through March 28th, Tuesdays through Saturdays, and each class meets once a week for 10 sessions. Class fees include all supplies and are affordable at $75 for youth and $100 for adults. (That translates into only $7.50 a session for young students and $10 a session for adults!)
