No matter the season, the views of the Palisades and the beautiful landscaping at Wave Hill are always a great date idea.
4900 Independence Ave
Grab some cold beers and golf clubs at Turtle Cove and enjoy an afternoon of golf.
1 City Island Rd
The grounds of Bartow Pell Mansion are beautiful enough, but be sure to check out their events calendar- sometimes there are concerts and other events that are perfect for a date night. But a picnic or stroll of the grounds is also a nice time.
Throw on your cowboy hat and head to the Bronx Equestrian Center for a trail ride through Pelham Bay Park. After, hit up City Island for a nice seafood lunch.
9 Shore Rd
Show your date you know some of the hidden gems in the Bronx by heading to Ice House Cafe, located in the bay near the Throggs Neck Bridge. Enjoy the view of the docked boats while the sunsets, along with some Italian fare.

If you’re both beer lovers, hit up the Gun Hill Brewing Co. for some handcrafted brews. Food vendors sometimes make an appearance, or bring your own food from a nearby spot.

The New York Botanical Garden hosts a lieu of exhibitions and events, but simply strolling the gardens is always a romantic date idea.

Bookmark Lehman Center for the Performing Art’s calendar to check out an upcoming show. From programs to concerts, there are some great date night ideas.

You can’t go wrong with the aesthetic of The Miles Coffee Bar in Throggs Neck. In the warmer months, sit outside in their patio and enjoy conversation over nutella lattes and avocado toast.

Plan a fun fishing date with a charter boat off City Island. Island Fleet offers both daytime and nighttime fishing trips.

If you haven’t hit up the trails at Orchard Beach yet, make a date out of it. The trails at Orchard Beach will make you feel like you’ve traveled far beyond Pelham Bay Park.

The ferry ride alone is a great date idea, even if you don’t have a destination. Time it out so that you see the sunet on the way home, and you’ve got a romantic boat ride with skyline views.

Catch an outdoor movie night
In the warmer months, you can catch outdoor movies around the Bronx. The parks department hosts movies under the stars in different parks across the boroughs, Mottley Kitchen hosts their rooftop movie nights, along with other planned events throughout the summer.
